What Is a White Background Service?

Many marketplaces ask for main product photos on pure white, RGB 255, 255, 255, with nothing else in the frame. A white backdrop in the studio rarely photographs that way: it turns gray or uneven. The service replaces whatever is behind the product with true white, cleans the edges and sizes the image so every listing in a store looks the same.

  • Background checked at RGB 255, 255, 255
  • Product kept whole, not cropped
  • Same margin and alignment across a batch

White backgrounds are one part of our photo editing services. For a transparent or colored result, see background removal; sellers who need a full listing image set can use our marketplace listing photo editing service, and fuller retouching is covered under product photo editing.

Why Sellers Send Us Their Product Photos

Truly white

We check the background value, so the marketplace sees white rather than near-white gray.

Hand-cut edges

Paths and masks are drawn by editors, which keeps fine details and avoids the halo automatic tools leave.

Consistent listings

Every product in the batch is framed with the same margin, so the store looks tidy.

40+ in-house editors, QC on each image and support around the clock.

One-click background removers

White Background Service FAQs

A white background service replaces the original backdrop of a product photo with pure white, RGB 255, 255, 255. Editors cut the product out by hand, keep its full shape, place it on true white and frame it consistently, producing the clean main images that marketplaces and online catalogs usually require.

Simple hard-edge products start at $0.50 per image. Items with hair, fur, fringe, transparent parts or several pieces in one shot take more time and cost more. Upload a few photos and we email the exact price and delivery time before any payment is made.

Cameras rarely record a lit backdrop as perfectly white; shadows and falloff leave it gray or uneven, especially at the edges. Brightening the whole photo would wash out the product. Cutting the item out and placing it on true white fixes the background without changing the product’s color.

We follow the background, framing and size rules you give us, and we know the common ones: pure white, the whole product shown and nothing extra in the frame. Each marketplace sets and changes its own rules, so please share the current requirements with your order.

A typical batch is returned 24 hours after payment. If a listing needs to go live sooner, rush delivery can be as fast as 6 hours, with a possible extra charge. For catalogs in the thousands, the delivery schedule is set out in your quote before you commit.

Yes. The same hand-cut product can be placed on light gray, a brand color or a transparent background instead of white. Tell us which versions you need when you order, and we can export both a white and an alternative version of each image.

Upload your product photos and note the size and format you need. We reply with an exact quote, and you pay by PayPal, Visa or Mastercard to begin. Two revision rounds are included, and a 100% money-back guarantee covers images that miss your brief.
