What Is Product to Vector Conversion?

It is the redrawing of a product photograph as paths, strokes and fills, so the object can be printed or displayed at any size without blur. A photo carries shadows, reflections and background clutter; the vector version keeps only the shape and the details that matter, such as panel lines, buttons, hinges or stitching, which makes it ideal for user guides, box art and marketing pieces.

  • Background, glare and shadows left out
  • Line weights set for print or screen
  • Separate layers for parts on request

What Product Vector Work Costs

Starts from
$7 per image

A simple object with few parts starts at $7 per image. Items with many components, fine stitching, transparent parts or full-color shading take longer and are priced higher. Once your photos are uploaded, an exact quote follows by email, and drawing starts after payment.

  • Standard delivery inside 24 hours
  • Rush product drawings from 6 hours (extra charge may apply)
  • Product drawings paid via PayPal, Visa or Mastercard
  • Masters in AI and EPS, copies in SVG, PDF, PNG, plus DXF if asked

A Whole Product Range to Draw?

Catalog and manual projects often involve dozens of items photographed in similar angles. We set one line weight and style for the range, then quote and schedule the full list together once we have seen every photo.

  • One line weight across the range
  • Matching angles and scale
  • Files named by product code
  • A single quote for the list

Why Product Teams Send Us Their Photos

Drawn by people

Each outline is placed with the pen tool, so curves stay smooth and corners stay sharp.

Consistent across a range

Line weights and angles match from item to item, so a catalog page looks planned.

Ready for the printer

Closed paths, outlined strokes and correct color mode come as standard.

In-house QC on every file and a 100% money-back guarantee if the result misses your brief.

Auto-traced product photos

  • Wobbly edges and broken curves
  • Reflections traced as random blobs
  • Thousands of needless anchor points
  • Hard to edit or recolor

Hand-drawn product vectors

  • Smooth, deliberate curves
  • Only real product edges drawn
  • Lean paths that open quickly
  • Easy to recolor or adjust

Product to Vector Conversion FAQ

It is the process of redrawing a product photo as vector paths instead of pixels. The artwork can then be resized for a tiny icon or a large banner without losing sharpness. Typical results are clean line drawings or flat-color illustrations used in manuals, catalogs, packaging and ads.

Simple products start at $7 per image. The price rises with the number of parts, fine detail such as stitching or text, and whether you want outlines only or full color. Upload your photos and we email an exact quote before any work begins.

A sharp, well-lit picture taken straight on gives the most accurate drawing. Several angles help if you need front, side and back views. If the item has a logo or text you do not own, tell us so we can leave it off the drawing.

Yes. Many clients want black line art for instruction sheets or spec pages. We can also supply a second version with flat colors or simple shading, so one order covers both print manuals and marketing material.

We deliver AI and EPS masters plus SVG, PDF and PNG copies. If the outline is going to CAD, laser or cutting software, ask for DXF as well. Fonts are converted to outlines so files open the same everywhere.

You do, as long as the product and photo are yours or licensed to you. Once the order is paid, full ownership of the finished drawings passes to you on request, and you can use them in any catalog, manual or ad. Every order carries two free revisions and our money-back guarantee.
