What Is Fonts and Icons Design?

A font is a set of letters, numbers and symbols you can type with, saved as a file such as OTF or TTF and scalable to any size. An icon is a small picture that stands for an idea, an action or a company. Designing both means setting rules for stroke weight, proportions and spacing so every character and symbol looks like part of one family.

  • Matching stroke weight across every glyph
  • Letter spacing tuned for readable words
  • Icons drawn on one grid so they align

Stroke weight, curves and proportions are kept consistent from A to Z and across every icon.

Made for your use

Built for your commercial or personal projects rather than pulled from a public font library.

Fonts and Icons Design FAQ

Fonts and icons design is the creation of custom lettering and symbols for a brand or project. A font is a typeable set of characters saved as a file like OTF or TTF, while icons are small pictures that represent ideas or actions. Both are drawn to shared rules so they look like one family.

Pricing depends on how many characters or icons you need and how detailed the style is. A short icon set costs less than a full alphabet with numbers and punctuation. Send your request, and we email an exact price and timeline before any drawing starts.

Yes. Send clear photos or scans of your letters, ideally the full alphabet plus any numbers and marks you want. We redraw each one as a smooth vector, balance the strokes, set the spacing and build a font file you can install and type with.

We design serif, sans serif, slab serif, script, calligraphy, handwritten and decorative styles. Tell us where the font will be used, such as a logo, packaging or posters, and we shape the letters to stay readable at those sizes while keeping the character you want.

Fonts are usually supplied as OTF or TTF files, and icons as SVG, PNG or JPG images. The exact formats depend on how you plan to use them, so we confirm the font and icon formats you need in the quote before we begin.

Yes. Once the project is paid, we can transfer full ownership of the finished font files and icon set to you, so you can install them across your company, embed them in apps and websites, or license them to others yourself. Ask for the transfer in your brief or at approval.

Send your sketches, references and list of characters or icons through the form. We review the request and email an exact quote with a timeline. Payment by PayPal, Visa or Mastercard begins the work. Two free revisions are included, plus our 100% money-back guarantee if the result misses the brief.
